i feel like my wardrobe isn't consistent in style enough. i'm not saying my wardrobe should only be made of greens and blues and blacks or something, i'm saying it needs to be more... i don't know, unified.

i really wish i could revamp my wardrobe. but that would require getting rid of things that were expensive and never really wore. that's terrible. if only.
i have too much excess bits and pieces, ie random tank tops that i don't want to throw out cos sometimes - or well most of the times i find myself ceebs dressing up. if only.

Just recieved one of these jackets in the mail! In a khaki green :) I didn't realise until I ordered it that "Spencer" wore it in Pretty Little Liars. And to think I specifically remember watching that episode and scene thinking I liked her jacket! haha :) what a nice coincedence.

It's by We The Free. I got it in a size '6'(but fit like a size 8), which was actually the 2nd smallest size on the list, cos the smallest was sold out. Lucky it still fits me though :) leaves enough room for me to wear stuff underneath.
I'm thinking of doing a vlog/haul thing cos Angel requested to see my 'shoe collection', I have too many shoes to take photos of each of them so I'll just briefly go through them via vid. Maybe after my exam tomorrow (when I finish), I'll get around to it ................

here’s how i see it, if mainstream stuff are pumping up their prices, almost as much as branded things, why not opt for the branded thing instead? why pay 200 bucks for a tilkah bag when you can get a mimco bag for 250. yeahh xactly. lols zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

next summer.
crap load of awesome shoes coming out. lots of high block heels and open toe heels and thick straps going on. no more thin heels. now just very 60s/70s inspired! everything's low wedged. thick heeled. just my thang. i'm so excited for the summer season to arrive!!
and of course, thanks to the lead america is in. colour blocking is probably going to be a big thing when summer hits us too. bright bold colours are trying to sneak itself further into mainstream. they tried orange/coral not too long ago. but i think they're bringing pinks and yellows etc now too. especially yellow.

I recently purchased a new nail colour: "Don't Mess with OPI" by OPI.
I've wanted this colour for a while now, and I finally got it! Whilst I was painting my nails and watching the video above, I realised that I have green/yellow undertones..which probably explains why this green nail polish does not look off on me. hm, though that would mean I'm a warm undertone? Green is a cool colour though.. Maybe this green is more warm than cool, cos it's mossy... hm but the majority of my nail polishes are dark or blues and greens.. that are cool toned! I don't get it!! haha meh..

what I wore today to uni.

Best trackies - bummy but not so much an eyesore when worn out.

No kidding, when the pastel nudes were in, I wasn't interested. And that frankly was a relief. Instead I sought to one of my favourite stores, General Pants, for most of the time. This season, is my favourite season, I would actually go out and purchase something full priced from Forever New or Portmans if I could (I usually don't), even if I knew they weren't worth it. So I guess you could see what kind of rut I'm in, especially when mum pulled the "you're not to buy anything from now on". Since then, I haven't bought a piece of clothing for a month. I know it sounds ridiculous, but I'd like to see you actually count the amount of times you brought a new piece of clothing home. Note that: mum said this during peak time of sales. It was shocking at how usually-expensive things plunged dramatically. So then I came home with happy bargains. Until I bought an uber cool jacket for 100? Or 150? I don't remember, but yeah, of course in hindsight I realised how overpriced it was. In fact I realised this as soon as I got home. Mum gave me a good lecture and of course I voluntarily told her I would go and get a refund. And I did, I dedicated a whole day just to go up to the city and do this (I barely go to the city let alone shop there). It's because of this I have this m'fuqing restriction on me. Talk about bad timing. Anyways, I told myself I wouldn't buy any clothing till ZARA opens. This kind of motivation is working, and hopefully would have saved up some money to get me just one thing from ZARA :(...

All that aside - I did fail (with mum's permission) today. But with good reason. Sass & Bide sale was on, it was a crap sale. But I managed to find something. Jeans (that fit perfectly! I don't even need to hem the lengths!), casual Dress and Banana in Pajama pants LOL. I kid, but they do remind me of pjs, I somehow managed to convince myself I could make something of it. I hope I don't regret this.

My reasoning behind these pants are: I'm into trousers. That is the trend now afterall. So why not get a pair that's by Sass&Bide? Ideally I'd like a pair that are nude, but of course there are plenty of those around now that I'm not allowed to buy. Fml.

Wtf is this dress about? I don't know. Instinct got me. And possibly not enough time out of the house, haha. No seriously, I think all that no shopping OR window shopping has made me a little delusional and a little lost as to what is socially acceptable in the mainstream fashion world. Haha, what did I do... looks like I belong in TRON.

This is the kind of thing I wear to uni....

This is going to sound vain, but I understand why and how it must be sometimes fustrating figuring out what the appropriate thing to wear to uni is. We have these expectations: not to look overdressed, not to look like you just got out of bed, not to look like you tried so hard, not to look too mundane. So what then will satisfy all these kinds of questions? I mean c'mon, it's just school. To some this means more than to others. For me, it will vary from day to day as to how bothered I am - early mornings will not see me trying at all.

I always like to feel comfortable, but 'stylish' to a certain degree. Anything big will do it. Big cardigans/jumpers/tops. One of my favourite jackets this season is my Mooks jacket that came down from $130 to $30. Biggest bargain ever, great quality, and very warm. Underneath I just have a plain black singlet top, with your average jeans, a big black scarf, and a pair of boot wedges. This isn't the most awe inspiring outfit ever, but it ticks the boxes to the questions above. For me, I like to add a bit of height in the shoes to make the outfit not so boring.

Make-up: bare essentials - for me that's: foundation, bronzer, eyeliner, nude eyeshadow.

I don't usually curl my hair, today was an exception :)

I know, I'm indecisive. But who isn't right? I'm just taking it to a whole new level - the blogging level.
So originally, this page and whatever it's about - is supposed to reside at Tumblr (http://ke4aii.tumblr.com/). However, layout and templates are really important to me, and I can't seem to find a simple, appropriate one to suit my intentions for this blog. I simply wanted columns on the side where I can add little things and links to all sorts of places. It seems simple enough right? And a generic enough idea where you would assume that such a popular blogging site like Tumblr should have. But it doesn't! And when it does, it's limited to length, and will cut-off excess stuff you put in there. So since many other independent fashion bloggers are at blogspot anyways, I'll give this a go for now ......... it would come to no surprise if I suddenly delete this blog and go back to my Tumblr. Anyways, for now my TasteMyWardrobe Tumblr page is purely for crap I want to sell but can never seem to sell. :) Time to reblog my old stuff onto this page!
